Iron spearhead, now incomplete. The blade is broken only about 30-35 mm above the junction of the blade with the neck. The blade is a long thin pointed oval in cross-section, 36 mm wide at the break. The solid neck appears short, although without an X-ray it is not possible to tell with certainty, the split in the socket appears to extend almost up to the start of the blade. The socket is about 140 mm long, and the split is 15 mm wide at the base. The external diameter of the socket is 22 mm at its base and the internal diameter is 17 mm. The overall surviving length is c. 195 mm
