Wax spatula handle of Feugère's type A3. The top is hexagonal, with the front and back facets being wider than the four side facets; it tapers elegantly to a narrow waist before flaring out again slightly. The front and back facets then flatten towards transverse ridges; below the ridges the handle flares out more strongly to form a flattened triangle. The lower half of this is split to hold the iron blade - traces of iron survive - and is decorated with a pair of transverse grooves. Copper-alloy pendant. The loop is broken, but would originally have been wide and circular; the breaks are old and corroded. Below the loop, the pendant is oval in cross-section. At the top is a globular area, then a ridge encircling the whole cross-section, then a long drop-shaped area ending in a small knobbed terminal. It is similar to Oldenstein (1976) no. 413, which he calls a phallic pendant. Surviving length 32 mm, width 10 mm, thickness 7.5 mm.

Miniature axe made from copper alloy. The blade is almost rectangular, tapering very slightly towards the blade end which is decorated on one face with three transverse grooves. The grooves are visible when the axe is held with the blade to the left and the shaft to the right. The shaft is circular in cross-section; where the original surface survives it is 3 mm in diameter. The shaft is set very slightly in from the butt of the axehead, but as many of the edges are fragmentary it is hard to tell exactly where the original edge of the butt was. Unidentified object. Made from lead, it is roughly circular but all its edges may be broken. It is slightly dished, and on the convex face is a raised circle 13 mm in diameter in which is a relief mark, perhaps a W with a horizontal line through it, or perhaps a pair of Xs. On the concave face, opposite the mark, is a sunken square measuring 3 x 5 mm. It has been suggested that this might be the base of a pewter vessel, and Roman, but no parallel has been found.

Copper-alloy mount. It is basically almost circular, 16 x 17 mm, and is plano-convex, with a flat reverse and domed upper surface. Two oval perforations with small stems breaking through the edge turn this into a mushroom- or pelta-shape, the stalk of the mushroom having an expanded base. On the reverse is an integral spike or rivet. The mount itself is 6 mm thick; the rivet increases this to 12 mm. These mounts are not common and it is possible that they are military armour or horse-harness fittings.

One plate from a strap-end, made from very thin copper alloy. It is of the 'lancet-shaped' late Roman type, with a rounded body and flared attachment end, but is very much more flimsy than most. The attachment end is decoratively cut into a curly bracket shape, and has a single central rivet hole. Very worn and corroded lid from a jug. The underside is flat, the upper face slightly convex, with a sloping and tapering projection in the centre, probably to help in lifting the lid. All edges are broken, but an echo of the original trefoil shape (covering both mouth and spout) can be seen. There is a broken stub projecting from the centre of a long edge; this was originally a hinge loop to attach the lid to the jug. There is a good parallel from Colchester (Crummy 1983, no. 2049).

Large biconical lead steelyard weight. Its maximum diameter is 40 mm and the lead part is 47 mm long, with a flattened area at either end. One of the cones is marginally shorter than the other (24.5 mm and 22.5 mm). The addition of a well-preserved U-shaped iron loop at one end brings the total length up to 54 mm. It weighs 288g.

Fragment of probable handle terminal from a patera. All external edges are broken, but the circular part of the terminal survives, at least 30.5 mm in diameter and with a perforation 12.5 mm in diameter. The terminal is convex on the upper surface with a vertical wall to the central perforation which is 5 mm thick. One edge of the terminal retains a fragment of the flat handle itself, which is thin, slightly convex and at least 24 mm wide. All of the broken edges are old and worn.

Terminal from a snake-ring, made from a very greyish soft metal, apparently a lead alloy. The hoop of the ring is circular in cross-section at the break, 3 mm in diameter; it quickly flares out to form a snake's head bezel which is 10 mm wide and 3 mm thick. The head is oval or lozengiform, and is quite stylised, with grooves along the edge on the rear half of the head but no other visible decoration. The head tapers into the hoop with no border between them, and the fragment is strongly curved to fit around the finger.

Small copper-alloy head which may be that of Minerva. It is wearing a rounded hat or helmet set far back on the head, with a possible lock of curly hair emerging down either side. Foot from a vessel. It is basically crescent-shaped, with one edge simply curved and the other having two large incurves forming three points, all of which are decorated with small notches. The large incurves have bevelled edges; between these, the central point slopes in cross-section to become much flatter.
