Partly polished flint axehead, incomplete - cutting edge missing. All over bifacial flaking with polish restricted to High points and sides. Pale brown with patches of medium/dark reddish brown ?staining. The two main breaks removing the cutting edge do not appear recent. Only one obvious "plough graze" and one recent chip which reveals a possible pale grey/brown flint core. Surviving length 150mm, width 58mm, 30mm thick.

Sub-triangular biface, perhaps a crude triangular arrowhead? One side concave, one convex, one straight. A small patch of cortex on the "butt" opposite the straight side. Extensive deep retouch. Black flint. Length (from cortex to straight edge) 60mm. Probably late Neolithic/early Bronze Age.
