Complete copper alloy medieval buckle frame. An oval frame with ornate outside edge with bar offset for the plate. The outside edge has a central sheet roller with grooved decoration flanked by two knops. Width: 21.47mm; Length: 19.43mm; Weight: 4.65g Egan and Pritchard, 1991: Fig. 44.

Copper alloy gilded buckle plate, front plate only. Rectangular with a fantastic bird design against an excised, probably originally enamelled, background. The border is decorated with an inciesed zigzag line. Two large rivet holes. Similar to an example from London (Egan and Pritchard p.113-4) and a fairly common ornate type.

Gilded copper alloy lozenge shaped brooch. Flat backed. At each corner a beaded hemisphere, joined by triangular section edges, the upper faces of which are slightly concave. One corner is pierced and holds a folded pin. 23mm across corners, 20mm across sideswhich are 3mm wide.

Copper alloy gilded buckle plate with afragment of buckle and the pin attached; one corner detached. Rectangular front plate with an all over incised design: each quarter contains a four-lobed flower/leaf motif. Four rivet holes, one with surviving rivet, and two holes in the small rectangular back plate. The pin is folded around the frame and also has traces of gilding.

Two circular pierced lead weights, probably spindle whorls. One is flat based with irregular convex upper face and large (diam 12mm) hole in overall 25mm diameter, 10mm high. The other is a rounded biconical outline with a 9mm diameter hole in overal 27mm diameter, 12mm thick, and is neatly made.
