Cast copper alloy handle from a vessel, disc shaped plate through which are two rivets attaching it to a small piece of the vessels side wall. Above the disc is part of an out turned integral lug now greatly truncated. Cast copper alloy 'mount', crescent-shaped, highly domed There are five grooves at the non-domed edge of the object, two small and narrow at each end of the object, one small, narrow groove on the object's centre line, each side of this is a wider and deeper groove.
