This is a section of a circle. The face of the object is decorated with incised leaf decoration. The incised decoration is divided into two panels on either side of a central longitudinal line. The main 'body' of the object is a five-sided plate which is sub-lozenge shaped in plan. The fifth side of the object body is horizontal rather than pointed. There are two large rivet holes, positioned opposite to and level with each other in each corner where each of the longer sides join the two shorter sides (about 3/5 of the way along the object). The object is a circular cast copper-alloy disc. In the centre of the disc protrudes a very well modelled two-dimensional representation of a face. At the top of the head is what appears to be curly hair, piled up. Below the position of the face's chin, the disc pushes out into a small, rounded-off point. There are no means of attachment.

A hand-made two-dimensional copper-alloy object. The profile of the object is curved. The 'top' area of the object is roughly heart-shaped. One side is flat with an angular curve rather than rounded. This part of the object has a gentle vertical crease in the middle. There is a flat, rectangular block on the reverse of this part of the object. The 'top' area extends into a drop shaped 'lower' area which is narrower than the top part and terminates in a blunt point. The lower part flares out into triangular points on either side, roughly mid-way along the lower part.
