Cast copper-alloy cross-shaped harness mount, gilded and bearing panels of reticulate interlace on its upper and lower arms and two highly stylised human faces on each of its lateral arms. The arms are separated by broad, diagonal ribs which meet at a circular panel on which is a hemispherical boss. The upper arm is truncated but bears the traces of a rivet hole. Through the lower arm is a single copper alloy rivet. The style of decoration shows this object to be of Irish origin. Height 38.9mm, Width 27.2mm, Mass 10.93g. A medieval, copper alloy figure of a winged ox or bull, with nimbus. The ox is hown in profile to the right, with his head turned to look back over his body. Capping the head is a neat hairline depicted by incised lines. The left horn rises from the top; the right horn is missing. His eye is a pointed oval, and his nostrils are depicted by two recessed pointed oval cells. Cast copper alloy mount or fitting, plate in the form of a crowned rose case in relief. From the base of this extends a 4mm diameter rod with two grooves around its rounded tip. The bar is now bent but may have once form a hook or loop. On the back of the plate is a hand made wood screw which appears to have been integrally cast. This object may have been a carriage fitting. Length 80.5mm, Width 43.5mm, Thickness 4.5mm, Mass 51.15g. The presence of the pointed wood screw shows that this object must be of recent date.

Equal-ended Irish mount dating to the 8th or 9th century AD, made from copper alloy with traces of gilding on the front. Each end is in the shape of a human head; in the centre is simple stereotyped interlace. Remains of two iron rivets. This mount has been published by Susan Youngs in an article discussing Irish mounts of eighth- or ninth-century date found in England (Youngs 2001, 256-7, no. 7, figs 6 and 7c). It may originally have been used on horse harness, or on something like a box or a shrine.
