Gilded cast copper-alloy object surmounting a ring. The object is shaped like a bird with two symmetrical 'wings' which together form a lozenge shape. At one end of the 'wings' where the longer sides meet and a point is formed, is a very slightly fanning 'tail'. The 'tail' appears to protrude from underneath the 'wings'. At the other end of the 'wings' is what appears to be a long, narrow head and beak. Purpose unclear.
