The strip is parallel sided with a width 13.3mm, its thickness, however tapers down the length. Both faces were decorated with a ring and dot design made up of a double ring and central dot. One leaf of the bifurcation is missing. While it would be expected that this design would be inlaid no mention of this was made on the original record.
