Curved bar with triangular loop at each end, one broken. At the centre are two high conical-headed rivets, one of which is stepped with three incised lines on the bar between the rivets and a pair of lines to either side. The front face is gilded. Function uncertain but probably a strap-fitting of Norman date (Geoff Egan pers. comm.)

Elongated heart-shaped copper alloy mount with two broken integral attachement lugs on the back. A pair of horizontal notches define the tip of the mount. Traces of white metal coating. A number of this type of mount feature in Read's Metal Artefacts of Antiquity (2001). Nos. 322 and 324 are close parallels.

Rectangular copper alloy plate with a row of drilled holes along each of the long edges and a pair of smaller drilled holes on the mid-line towards one end of the plate. A pair of incised grooves running the length of the plate define the decorated edges which also includes punched chevrons and X's. One irregular narrow edge suggests the plate is incomplete. It is likely the plate is either part of a medieval strap-end or buckle plate.

Cast copper alloy swivel strap fitting dating to the medieval period (c.AD 1100-1500). This object survives as one of two linked rings. The remaining loop is roughly oval in plan with a widening base with possible zoomorphic mouldings in the form of open-mouthed beasts either side of the open, female element of the fitting. The opposing swivel ring with the male element is missing. The object has a bright green patina with patches of darker green. Copper alloy strap end. Heavy cast, one piece folded widthways with wide gap at folded end. Single central copper alloy rivet positioned towards attachment end. The front face has a rounded terminal defined by a notch cut into either edge. The rest of the strap-end tapers slightly towards the fold. The back face tapers roughly towards the attachment end which is rounded. This is likely to be a strap fitting rather than a buckle plate as there is no hole for the pin. Egan and Pritchard (1991) record several such examples but with several rivets (see also LVPL-86FB02) the exceptions …

Slightly trapezoidal with three moulded knops at one short edge and a prohecting knop at the opposite short edge. Pierced eight times including a central lozenge shaped hole. A dome headed copper rivet remains in one of the holes. At the mid-point on the back are two oval lugs at right angles to the body of the object, one on either of the long edges.
