Elaborate oval-looped buckle frame. Triple ridge pin rest on front edge with an S-shaped scroll to either side. The side are decorated with a central double ridge with rows of curving lines to either side. The knop terminals of the strap bar are human faces. The pin is missing.

Medieval rectangular buckle frame with plate, pin missing. The frame is slight trapezoidal and the sides extend slightly beyond the front edge. The folded sheet plate is recessed for the frame and bares an imprint of a missing lozenge shaped attachment towrds its back edge through which passed three rivets, a larger central iron rivet which survives and and two small rivets, one above and below, which are missing. All of the rivets passed through the back plate.

Fragment of a rectangular framed buckle with five deep rabbets on the outer edge, A buckle of similar form is published in Egan & Pritchard (1991, No. 443) dated to the late 13th-14th centuries. Whitehead (1996) includes another example (No. 476) but dates it to the 15th century and suggests it may be a buckle for armour. Also see LVPL-179134

Pin from a disc-on-pin style buckle from the later medieval period. Circular body with tapering point opposite loop. The body is decorated with four dome-headed copper alloy rivets. Cast copper alloy single loop buckle with plate, pin missing. The buckle frame has a double convex outer edge producing three angles. A projecting decorative bronze rivet is attached at each of the angles. The rectangular plate is formed from a folded sheet plate. The attachement end is recessed for the buckle frame and notched for the pin, is decorated with an incised border and has traces of gilding. Two of the four bronze rivets remain in-situ. The back plate is missing. The plate is bent. A parallel is illustrated in Whithead, R. Buckles 1250-1800, 2003, No.110
