Probable fragment of an Anglo-Saxon shield mount in cast copper alloy dating to the 6th century AD. Rounded body with rectangular projection with dome headed rivet on back. Incomplete cast copper alloy cruciform brooch dating to the sixth century AD. Head missing, arched bow with facetted bottom corners, (the top corners are missing) deeply concave behind with medial moulding on the front; transverse beaded moulding at junction with bow, transverse lines below, semi-circular lappet to either side (one missing), step at junction with foot; animal head terminal with prominent eyes, V-shaped step to nose decorated with triple incised lines, fused nostrils with terminal loop supporting a split bronze ring.

Crudely cast lead alloy finger ring. Prominent casting seam around the inside of the loop. Heart-shaped bezel with a quatrefoil at the centre of a cross - the vertical arms of which are expanded at the terminals like a cross patee, the horizontal arms are pointed. Half pellet at each angle of the cross. The cross is framed within four arched tressures.

Irish bronze vessel mount. Robust bronze casting dominated by a stylised human face mask. The top of the mount is flat with a slight lip around the front edge. The eyes are simple raised mouldings. The nose is a narrow vertical ridge which goes on to divide a 'mouth' which is represented by an oval moulding forming a pair of sub-triangular cells. The moulding may represent the mouth or even nostrils. Late Anglo-Saxon stirrup-strap mount. Triangular with slightly bowed sides. Depicting a lion looking upwards with its fron paw raised and tail curled between its legs and over its back. Pierced tri-lobed apex from which a pendant lobe penetrates the frame above the liaons head. The base is pierced by two lower fixing holes and a right-angle flange projects rearwards. This example fits into William's Class A, Type 11A (Williams 1997)
