A Late Medieval, cast, copper alloy, large loop double asymmetrical buckle with lobed protrusions at either end of the strap bar. Minus the tongue. Very worn or eroded condition with a matt brown corroded surface and a few light green patches on the underside. The outer edge of the more rounded loop has been bent/distorted a little probably by agricultural machinery. This is likely to date between 1400-1500. Ref.
