An incomplete, Late Medieval, cast, copper alloy, small key probably for use with a secure casket. Once oval shaped bow or handle with hollow cylindrical projecting shaft and pin stem. There are two narrow moulded transverse ridges or bead and reed collar at the foot of the bow. The simple locking bit had one cleft and one bullet.
