A Series E Secondary Phase type, but of uncertain subclass, date c.700-750. The obverse is akin to the early variety G1 coins, although the pellets on the central band are a larger than usual, and the reverse standard is like a devolved version of the VICO coins, an early type. A single-loop copper-alloy buckle with a ring-and-dot pattern. The frame is D-shaped internally and more angular externally. There are three small round projections on the exterior at the pin rest. A single row of ring-and-dot motifs decorates one face of the buckle. The bar is inset and the pin is missing. This is a very simplified form of Ringerike-style decoration which dates the buckle to the 11th century. Compare BH-82CF20.

A late Early Medieval copper alloy strap end circa AD 850-1100. The attachment end is split and there is one rivet hole which still contains the copper alloy rivet. The object is decorated with two transverse molded bands between which there is an incised ellipse that may have held niello. The terminal is in the form of a round nosed beast with an incised V shape to denote the ears. The reverse is undecorated.

A copper-alloy, Thomas Class B, Type 2 strap-end with a Trewhiddle-style relief design. The strap-end is split in two for about a third of the way down, to take the leather or textile of the strap; one of the two rivets hole broken. Just below the two rivet holes is a pelta or fan shape. The panel below this has an indistinct animal, with its back along the right hand side of the strapend. The creature is looking back at its tail, which is curled under. Its legs are extended as if in the act of walking. Below this is a long thin panel with a zigzag, which extends down to three deeply …

A complete two-way copper alloy harness link consisting of a central boss connected to an arm at each side which terminates in a circular loop. Each loop has three oval knops evenly set on the outer edge. The loops are joined to the central boss by 12mm long arms which are D shaped in section. The central boss is oval and has a has a domed protrusion which corresponds with a hollow on the reverse. A sinilar strap distributor was as found as part of a group of harness fittings in Kvalsta in Sweden (Williams 1997)
