An incomplete copper-alloy medieval strap-fitting: an anthropomorphic mount in the form of a crowned head (c. 14th century). The crown is bifoliate, with engraved fleurs on the crown and engraved eyes and mouth. The eyes are triangular with a dot in the middle. The rectangular nose is moulded. The has been an old break which has led to the loss of part of one of the cheeks. The face is hollowed on the reverse. A very small bronze coiled snake with a broadened head and flattened tail. The inner core is too small to fit over the smallest finger and inner circle metal is to rough. This item was found in an area where only roman bronze coins and artifacts were found to the date of this record being entered. This may be a votive offering.

A cast copper alloy single looped oval buckle frame with ornate outside edge, typically of late 12th to late 14th Centuries AD. It consists of a oval frame, with an narrow offset bar, with a recess for the leather strap. The pin is missing. The front of the buckle has moulded decoration, along the outside edge, the reverse is flat and undecorated.
