A post medieval pewter sub-annular shoe buckle. The sides of the frame, where the pin would have rested are concave while the opposing sides are convex. The pin rests are deep grooves with decorative incised notches along the adges. The concave sides have similarly notched decoration around the in-curving part with transverse moulding across the centre. The frame of the buckle has been drilled for a seperate bar which may have been iron. The pin is mow missing

A pewter trapezoidal buckle. Two sides of the frame have triangular extensions and the other two sides are thickened where the, now missing, bar and pin would have been.
