Two opposing strips of copper alloy looped through an oval 'ring' and folded back on themselves. One end is cut off at a right angle and the other is broken on one side and ends in a point on the other. There is a copper alloy rivet through this section.

Medieval or post medieval buckle; cast copper alloy double oval loop buckle. The buckle has an iron wire pin. This buckle is very simple and with few distinguishing features so can only be loosely dated to the late 14th - early 17th centuries. Ref: see the buckles in Whitehead, page 57.

A cast copper alloy annular brooch of medieval date. The brooch has a diameter of 26.84mm, the circular cross-section has a diameter of 3.15mm. The undecorated circular frame has no sign of a constriction for the pin, which is separately cast and judging by the colour, may be in a slightly different alloy. The pin tapers unevenly to a point. The narrowness of this pin may suggest that this is a brooch rather than a buckle

A lead ampulla in the form of a round belly and straight neck with a slightly damaged edge. One side has an eight petalled daisy wheel with a faint zigzag border at the top and bottom. the reverse has a rather rounded shield baring a saltire cross filled in with rough cross-hatching.

Incomplete cast circular lead seal with a design on either face. The seal, or 'papal bulla' is of Pope Alexander III (1159-1181). The obverse is worn and most of the detail is only faintly descernable, at the top is the word 'SPASPE', abbreviations for St Paul and St Peter. Below this should be outlines depicting the busts of St Peter and St Paul each within an inverted pear shaped compartment defined by pellets.
