A lead folded sheet. The sheet is sub-rectangular in shape, There is a central aperture which measures 5.1mm x 2.9mm. The sheet is folded back onto it's reverse and one corner is has rolled downwards. The sheet wrapped a Greek silver drachm coin and was prised open by the finder to reveal the coin. The object is 37.3mm in length, 18.5mm in width, 18.1mm maximum thickness, and weighs 20.83g.

A worn Iron Age silver unit of the Southern Region / Belgae dating from c. 65 - 40 BC, unlisted in ABC. Obverse: Helmeted head left with two J-shaped locks of hair. An incomplete silver medieval penny of Stephen (AD 1135 - 1154), dating to the period AD 1135-1150. The obverse has a crowned bust right with rosette in front and no scpetre. The reverse has a cross with a mullet in each angle. This is a very rare coin, probably from a local or irregular issue, typical of the Southern variants from Oxford by the moneyer, Adam. The coin is in poor condition, struck off centre with most of the rim now missing. North 887 (Br.1c, M.181-2).

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Iron Age potin attributed to the Nervii (Belgium / northeastern France), dating to the period c.60-40 BC, variant of the 'branches' type. The obverse of the potin depicts a central equal-armed cross formed of pellets with two sets of wavy lines (branches) in each quarter of the cross. A rare, slightly worn copper alloy Roman sestertius of Trajan (AD 98-117), dating to AD 112-114 (Reece Period 5), mint of Rome. The reverse depicts the entrance to the Basilica Ulpia in Rome, adorned with statues above the colonnade. The legend around the outer edge of the reverse is worn but otherwise the coin is in very good condition.
