Small group of four coins all found together. Either deliberately concealed or lost together as a 'purse drop'. The coins (listed in detail below) are: one copper and one tin farthing of Charles II, and two tin farthings of James II. It is notable that only farthings were found. It has been suggested (B Cook pers. comm) that people may have carried their small change separately from higher value coinage in the Medieval and Post Medieval and this find might provide further evidence for that suggestion. Coin 1: Copper alloy farthing of Charles II dating from 1672 to 1679. Obverse: Cu
