Description: A somewhat worn modified silver half-siliqua of Justinian I (AD 527-565) dating to c. AD 552-565. Obverse: diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right, [....]ANVS P AVG. Reverse: staurogram on globe flanked by two stars, all within a laurel wreath (no legend). Mint of Ravenna. C.f DOC 339, Ranieri 361.
This coin appears to have been turned into a pendant, demonstrating two adjacent sub-circular perforations directly behind the bust.
