Short length of gold strip, probably deliberately broken. In the absence of archaeological context it is not possible to assign this to any particular date or culture and is best regarded as an undiagnostic fragment.
It is noted that two Middle Bronze Age ribbon torcs were found two fields away (2009 T435). The widths recorded for them are less in both cases. Due to the undiagnostic nature of the find it cannot be securely dated to pre-1710 and as such falls outside the provisions of the Treasure Act 1996
