Medieval: An incomplete integral buckle plate with pin. The buckle consists of a folded sheet of copper alloy, bent around the central bar of the buckle. The rest of the buckle frame has been lost. The base of a folded sheet metal pin still remains. The buckle plate is a dark mid green colour, with a slight reddish brown tinge to it.
It probably dates to the late medieval period, c. 1350-1550 AD.
