A copper alloy Roman Polden Hill brooch of flat wing ends type (AD 80-120). Wing ends have perforated end caps. Spring and and pin missing. Pierced crest on top of head. Bow taper. Two narrow mouldings at foot. Each ring has five longitudinal ribs catchplate intact, folded pin rest.

A copper alloy early Anglo Saxon disc brooch fragment, c.50% extant. There is no sign of a pin or catchplate so it may be that the object is a mount rather than a brooch. Circular in shape with 2 circular mouldings at the centre with four spiral roundals. Traces of possible gilding and enamel.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman Knee Brooch c. 2nd century AD. The brooch has tubular wings, a broken head-loop, and rounded knop at its foot; the pin and catchplate is missing. On the bow of the brooch is two rectangular panels which would once have held enamel, now missing.

A copper alloy incomplete Roman Ancissa brooch with its pin missing and half of one wing. head rolls forward to hold axis bar, now corroded in place. Threads flat on front 14.34mm wide. Upper bow is 7.8mm. Indent on head, pronounced curve, narrowing to 4.12mm wide.above lower bow. Lower bar narrows over 9mm to foot ends. Upper bow has central disc or raised knob with many transverse lines and a longitudinal groove either side. Known as "The Soldiers Brooch". 1st Century AD.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman 'umbonate' brooch, having traces of blue and red enamelling surviving in the multiple triangular cells that decorate the brooch in two circumferential tiers. The remains of a chain loop survives and this brooch may have had knops at four intervals around the outside; A fragment of pin survives but the catchplate is missing. This type of brooch dates to the second century AD. Similar to Hattatt (2007) No 128 (fig 209).
