A copper-alloy jetton, struck in Nuremberg by Lazarus Gottlieb Lauffer, who was master from 1663 until his death in 1709. This jetton bears the busts of William and Mary, which dates it to their reign or shortly thereafter (cf. Mitchiner 1988: 507, nos. 1800-1801). The corroded token has been deliberately bent twice, creating a 'love token'.
Dimensions: 17.9mm diameter, 0.1mm thick; weight: 0.51g.
