A copper-alloy button of Late Medieval to early post-Medieval date. The upper surface of the plano-convex head bears a relief-moulded central pellet, from which radiate eight curved ridges, creating the appearance of a flower head. A ropework moulding extends around the circumference of the head. The integrally cast loop, which extends backwards from the centre of the underside of the head, has a rounded distal end and a circular aperture. The button measures 15mm long, 13mm wide (diameter of head) and weighs 3.83g.

The discoidal weight bears the following punched marks on both surfaces: 'F' (12 o'clock), 'P' (3 o'clock), lis (9 o'clock), 'I' (centre). Dimensions: 18.2mm diameter, 2.9mm thick; weight: 5.75g.

A copper-alloy jetton, struck in Nuremberg by Lazarus Gottlieb Lauffer, who was master from 1663 until his death in 1709. This jetton bears the busts of William and Mary, which dates it to their reign or shortly thereafter (cf. Mitchiner 1988: 507, nos. 1800-1801). The corroded token has been deliberately bent twice, creating a 'love token'. Dimensions: 17.9mm diameter, 0.1mm thick; weight: 0.51g.
