An incomplete copper-alloy pin (probably). The style and colour of this piece suggest a possible Roman to Medieval date. The head is sub-globular at the top and this tapers smoothly into the inverted-conical lower half. A fragment of the pin shaft protrudes from the base of the head. The heavily corroded artefact measures 18.2mm long, up to 7.4mm wide and weighs 3.04g.
