A post medieval crudely cast lead alloy object, probably intended for use as a loom weight or spindle whorl, dating to c. AD 1450 - 1600. The object broadly resembles Walton Rodgers form A1 or A2, being sub-circular in plan with one flat face and tapering curved sides.
