Lead spindle whorl. Cast cylindrical whorl with a central moulded aperture of diameter 11.2mm, either miscast or more probably part-melted, Walton Rogers form B. The spindle hole size could admit an Anglo-Scandinavian date. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 1000-1100
