A complete lead alloy spindle whorl. It is plano-convex in shape with a domed side, rounded edges and a flat base with a central perforation  No decoration is present on either side and it classified as Walton Rogers form A1 (Walton Rogers, 1997, p.1731/1738). The whorl has an even fawn patina. A lead alloy bi conical spindle whorl. The design on one face consists of lines which form triangular and trapezoid shapes. Inside some of these frames are dots, and there are dots around the outer as well. The other side has lines outward from the centre, inside of these are two dots in line with the frames. Both surfaces have faint traces of moulded decoration though the object is worn obscuring the exact design. The metal has a mid-brown patina and is worn.
