A Medieval - Post Medieval pottery spindle whorl made from stone ware, probably Langewehe, Belgium (late 15th – early 16th century). The spindle whorl has convex sides and slightly concave upper and lower surfaces. The central circular perforation has a diameter of 8.98mm. The spindle whorl is decorated with bands of horizontal incised lines around the midpoint.
Dimensions: diameter: 27.34mm; thickness: 21.89mm; weight: 17.92g.
