A medieval or post medieval biconical lead alloy spindle whorl of 26.3mm diameter. The surface is decorated with triangles arranged in an alternating star shaped pattern. Each triangle has a central line. The aperture of the whorl is around 10mm. The surface retains reddish sediment from the local geology.

A complete cast biconical lead alloy spindle whorl, 27mm in diameter and of Medieval or post-Medieval date. On one side, the whorl is decorated with pellets arranged in three offset concentric circles. The other side is undecorated. The perforation 9.2 mm in diameter, which may suggest a medieval date (Walton Rogers, 1997, p.1731).

A complete lead or lead alloy bi-convex decorated spindle whorl (or weight), of probable Medieval dating (1100 to 1500). The object is sub-circular in shape, and lentoid in cross-section. It measures 20.93mm in diameter and stands 7.00mm in height, weighing 15.0g. The object has a central aperture, measuring 4.77mm in diameter on one side and 5.49mm diameter on the other (flat side). Both faces are undecorated.

A circular cast lead-alloy artefact, probably a spindle whorl. The whorl has a flat biconical section, with each cone truncated by the central perforation for attachment. The whorl is 29.75mm in diameter at its centre, 12.05mm thick, and the circular perforation for attaching to the spindle is 9.5mm in diameter, tapering slightly to 8.2mm. The upper face of the whorl is decorated with irregular tapering double ribs which radiate out.
