Each face is decorated with vertical and horizontal, cross-hatching lines, although the decoration is faded and unclear. One face of the object is decorated with lettering, which is too worn to be read accuratly. A lead alloy spindle whorl of medieval to post medieval date. The object is circular in plan and slightly bi-conical. In the centre of the object the perforation has an internal diameter of 9mm. One face is decorated with branching lines, interspersed with raised circular pellets. The second face is more regularly patterned with lines radiating outwards from the centre. All but one of the spaces between these lines contain a large pellet. The object has a white to pale brown patina.

A lead alloy decorated spindle whorl. In the centre of the object is a circular perforation. There are 5 circular petal-like loops with each loop containing a smaller, inner loop. Between the gaps of each loop is a an inverted V-shape. Spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period although the majority are typically dated broadly to the medieval period c.1100-1500.

A cast lead alloy spindle whorl. The weight is circular in plan, although chipped and abraded around the perimeter, and bi-conical in profile. It is decorated on both sides with a raised design of triangles radiating out from the central perforation to create a six pointed star, with six pellets between the points, although as it is quite worn in places some of the lines can only be supposition.
