The object is biconical in shape with steeped sides rounded edge with a large central perforation measuring 7.7mm in diameter. Both faces are decorated; one face presents a raised border around the perforation from which angled lines radiate. The other face presents alternating raised traverse lines and pellets in the centre. The object has a smooth light cream patina.

The object is disc shaped with slightly convex surfaces. It has a large central perforation measuring 10.6mm in diameter. Both faces are decorated with a raised design of curved and angled lines and pellets forming a random pattern. The reverse face shows signs of wear.

A complete lead bi-convex decorated spindle whorl of Medieval to early post-Medieval date (AD 1100-1500).
The spindle whorl is sub circular in shape, and lentoid in cross section. The central hole is circular and the internal diameter of the hole measures 8.4mm. The upper face is decorated with moulded different shaped patterns and the initials MB. The lower face is also decorated with moulded patterns, including a grid of four squares and a heart motif.
The whorl is a brown colour, with an even surface patina.

The object is biconical in shape with steeped edges and a central perforation measuring 9.1mm in diameter. There appears to have been decoration on at least one of the faces, but the object is too worn to make out what it would have been.
The incomplete spindle whorl is 27.35mm in diameter, 9.8 thick and weighs 21.36g.

The Spindle Whorl is biconical in cross section and decorated on both sides. On side is a double lined, five pointed star, or five double lined cheverons, both internal and external Interstices have a pellet. Surrounding the central perforation are 14 raised pellets. Moulded lines run out from the perforation to a circular band resulting in the formation of seven 'cells'. Each cell contains two pellets. Within each cell the pellets are bordered on one side with a curved double ridge.
