Moulded relief decoration on one side comprises faint lines forming rhomboid compartments. The other side bears similar faint decoration. A flat circumferential rim appears where the two halves meet. A cast lead spindle whorl of probable medieval date. The spindle whorl is circular in plan and bi-conical in profile. It measures 30.1mm in diameter, 9.57mm thick and weighs 33 grams.
