A lead alloy spindle whorl of Medieval to Post-Medieval date, circa (AD 1100-1600). In plan the spindle whorl is sub-circular. There is a central sub-circular perforation which is 9.2 mm in diameter. Both faces have been decorated with raised circular pellets surrounding the inner perforation. The outer edge has a repeating pattern of moulded triangular knops. A lead alloy spindle whorl of Roman to Post-Medieval date. The object is circular, with a flat bottom and curved top, with a perforation (spindle hole) off centre. It is a mottled beige in colour and the reverse side has a line etched under the perforation. The object weighs 5.2g and measures 12.93mm in diameter and is 5.54mm in Thickness. The diameter of the perforation is 2.06. Mid grey, sandstone spindle whorl, round in plan and flat in profile, with a small perforation in the centre measuring 5.3 mm in diameter.
