A broadly complete lead-alloy spindle whorl from the Medieval period (AD 1200-1500) The whorl is made up of a central conical body on one face, and broadly flat reverse face, with a central aperture measuring 11.23mm. It is decorated on both faces with a series of raised lines, which form triangular shapes.
