A cast lead post-medieval to modern spindle whorl probably dating to c.AD 1600-1900. The object is circular and bi-convex with a sub-oval hole for suspension at both ends, around the holes the surface is flat. One surface is decorated with oblique lines radiating from the hole.  There is some damage on the decorated side and light scar marks on the other. Diameter: 25.12 mm; Height: 16.85 mm; Weight: 48.56g

A cast lead medieval spindle whorl dating to c.AD 1150-1500. The whorl is plan-convex.One side is slightly domed. The central circular hole measures 8.80 mm in diameter. It is uniface, one side is decorated with a raised zig-zag pattern radiating from the hole, comprising of an irregular pattern of triangles with an annulet at the apex, squares and crosses. The weight is uneven in thickness, with the thickest measuring 8.70 mm and the thinnest portion 6.98 mm.  It is 28.54 mm in diameter, 8.70 mm thick and 38.90g.

Lead spindle whorl or washer of probable Medieval to Modern date (c. AD 1050-1800). The object is disc-shaped with a slightly off-centre subsquare perforation.  The faces are plain .One face is slightly convex.The surface patina is light grey in colour. Lead cast Medieval spindle whorl. The whorl is biconical with a central perforation of 11.07mm diameter and a medial ridge. Both surfaces appear to have been decorated, with one surface having a series of raised lines radiating from the perforation to the medial ridge.
