Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 28mm in diameter and 13mm thick with a weight of 45.33grams. The object is circular in form and bi-conical in cross section and has a central hole 8mm in diameter. The whorl has decoration on each face, one side having a series of transverse raised lines radiating from the central hole. The other side has a star like motif formed of double raised chevrons, interspersed with raised pellets. The form of the whorl fits Walton Rogers class C, 1100-1500.

Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 31mm in diameter and 12mm thick with a weight of 49.26grams. The object is circular in form and sub rectangular in cross section and has a central hole 11m in diameter. The whorl has a domed central area on each side and around its edge, which is thinner, are a series of raised pellets. The form of the whorl is not quite bi-conical, but the decoration would suggest a medieval date, 1100-1500.
