A complete cast lead or lead alloy spindle whorl probably dating to the Medieval period. The object is sub-circular in plan with a domed upper face and a flat rear face. At the centre, a vertical circular perforation has an internal diameter of approximately 10.3mm. The upper face is decorated with four raised lines radiating from the centre with a raised pellet in each compartment. The flat rear face is undecorated. Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead spindle whorl. It is bi-conical with a central circular perforation. THe upper and lower surfaces are decorated with slightly curved lines forming a lozenge around the central perforation. There is a pellet in each internal angle of the lozenge and on the outside edge of each side of the lozenge. It is 25.04mm in diameter, 13.45mm thick and weighs 30 grams. The circular perforation has a diameter of 11.31mm.

Cast copper alloy weight, probably a spindle whorl. It is biconical with a central circular perforation. A large amount of the original surface is missing, where it does survive, it is covered in vertical incised lines. It is 16.04mm thick, 23.36mm in diameter, the central perforation is 7.97mm in diameter. It weighs 27.30 grams.

Medieval cast lead alloy spindle whorl. The whorl is circular in plan, with an irregular circular perforation at the centre. It has a sub-triangular cross section. Both the upper and lower surface have moulded decoration. One face has a zig-zag design, with pellets in the gaps. The other face has five double arches, with two pellets in each towards the central perforation. It has a diameter of 30.59mm, the perforation has a diameter of 9.95mm. It is 9.98mm thick 10.01mm wide and weighs 44.88 grams. The surface is slightly worn and there is some damage.

The object has been cast with a series of crude raised dots around the circumference of one surface and presumably the opposite surface, though this is worn beyond recognition. Worn, Limestone spindlewhorl, probably Anglo-Saxon. The spindlewhorl is plano-convex, having a flat bottom and domed top. It has a central circular perforation through its length. The object is abraded, but appears to have been undecorated. The limestone has a chalky white appearance. The spindlewhorl is 32.74mm in diameter, 14.32mm thick and weighs 17.92g. A similar shaped, though pottery, spindlewhorl can be seen in West, 1998, A corpus of Anglo-Saxon material from Suffolk, Figure 121, number 12.
