Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 31mm in diameter and 19mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a dark grey patina and weighs 57.23grams. The whorl has no decoration and has a promounced central ridge with steep sides that run up to the hole, which is 10mm in diameter.
