White metal possible spindle whorl. Cast annular or bun-shaped object with central oval aperture of length 9mm and width 6.7mm. The surface appears battered or hammered with a black coating which may be oil, colorant or a corrosion product; the same finish has been observed on small ingots, though the interior surfaces of this object are a lighter grey. The metal may be a lead alloy, or possibly another material; it is at all events dense; some other objects of identical surface appearance have been found to be copper alloy.
