Both faces are decorated with a series of very worn radiating lines and zigzags. The whorl has a grey/brown patina and has a diameter of 25.6mm, is 11.4mm thick and weighs 32.0g. The central hole is 9.56mm diameter. Though C2 whorls are known from the Iron Age onwards, the decoration suggests a date from AD 1200 onwards (Standley, 2016).
