A cast copper-alloy Roman headstud brooch. The short wings conceal a hinged pin mechanism. The axis bar and the pin are missing. On top of the head are the remains of a rearward claw. The circular headstud has a small circular centre with blue enamel. The curved bow has ten small circular enamel cells of blue enamel, some of which are now missing, The bow terminates with a foot knob with two horizontal ribs above it. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman knee brooch. The hollow head is sub-oval and conceals a hinge pin mechanism. Two pierced lugs survive, but the pin is missing. The head may have had a copper-alloy plate around the head, but this is missing. The tapering bow continues from the head arches downward to a forward circular foot. The bow has traces that it was once decorated by an incised horizontal pattern, but most of this is worn away. The brooch does not have a catchplate, but the pin may have rested on the circular foot. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman knee brooch. The semi-tubular wings conceal a copper-alloy spring mechanism. The sides of the wings are pierced for an axis bar and the chord is internal. The spring is quite worn so it is impossible to tell how many turns there were and the pin is missing. The bow is curved in profile, but rectangular in section and has a rib where it meets the wings. A complete cast medieval buckle and plate. The single loop oval frame has an ornate outer edge with two lobed knops. Between the knops are three deep grooves. The strap bar is narrowed and offset. The copper-alloy sheet plate is folded around the strap bar and is secured by a single copper-alloy rivet. The pin is missing. The complete length of the buckle and plate is 40.5mm, the width is 27.1mm and the weight is 7.31g.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Anglo-Scandinavian strap distributor. The surviving arm is hemispherical in section and has a lozenge shaped terminal with an oval aperture. On each angle of the terminal is a rounded knob. The arm has a rounded knob on the incomplete end. The surviving length is 37.0mm, the width is 24.9mm and the weight 8.32g.

A complete cast copper-alloy Romano-British strap slider. The pointed oval slider has a bull-eye motif in its centre. The central circle still retains blue enamel. The reverse of the slider has an integral square sectioned rectangular loop measuring 33.0mm by 7.2mm high. The length of the slider is 35.8mm, the width is 30.6mm and the weight is 30.6mm.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy small-long brooch. The foot fragment is all that survives of the brooch. The brooch is broken at the base of the arched bow, which has two incised transverse lines. The foot originates in a narrowed field with two transverse lines and a moulding with two transverse bands below it. The foot expands to a sub-triangular terminal with punched dots along the edge. Behind the footplate is a complete catchplate with a length of 14.4mm and a width of 6.1mm. The surviving length of the brooch is 42.0mm, the maximum width is 14.7mm and the weight is 7.49g.

A large complete cast copper-alloy single loop buckle. The annular buckle frame has a row of three integral circular loops on one side. The cast copper-alloy pin is looped around the frame. The pin tapers to a rounded point and is decorated with three transverse groves in the centre. The diameter of the buckle is 52.6mm and the weight is 47.42g.

A cast lead flask shaped medieval ampulla. The ampulla is torn just above the rounded base and is now in two parts. The rounded base has Type I scallop-shell motif with bold radiating ribs, notched edges and well defined shoulders (Spencer, 1990, 59). The other face only has the scallop-shell motif around the edge. In the centre is a circle with a shield inside it. Medieval buckle brooch; cast copper alloy annular brooch of late 13th or 14th century date. The buckle has a simple ring frame of circular cross section with a sturdy cast pin looped around one side of the frame. The frame seems surprisingly narrow when compared to the very chunky pin. The strap fitting is sub-rectangular in shape with the top edge being bi-lobed; it is of openwork zoomorphic design depicting a creature with one head and two bodies and is broadly symmetrical in design.
