An incomplete copper-alloy early medieval (late Anglo-Saxon) stirrup terminal. The object is an elongated, tubular shape, C-shaped in cross-section with an open concave reverse and zoomorphic moulding on the outer face and sides. The centre of the lower end of the outer face projects downwards culminating in a rounded point representing the snout of an animal. A cast copper alloy Early Medieval stirrup terminal dating to circa AD 950-1100. The terminal is hollowed with a convex front face and concave reverse. It is rendered in the form of a styled animal foot consisting of a flat D-shaped base with evenly spaced trilobite projecting knops emerging from the front of the flat base. It is sub-triangular in plan with a zoomorphic relief design.  It is composed of a narrowed upper terminal which expands towards an expanded flat lower edge with two outer projections. An incomplete cast copper-alloy stirrup strap mount (Williams Class A, Type 8) of Medieval date (c.1000-1100). Description: The mount is sub-triangular in plan with a zoomorphic head terminal at the apex. The decoration consists of a series of looping and bifurcating tendrils which end in lobes. The flange is not intact and is the piece that is missing. A minimal amount of iron corrosion is present on the reverse apex loop from the rivets. The object has a light red-brown patina. Measurements: length: 44.53mm, width: 30.81mm, thickness: 4.49mm, weight: 15.77g.

An incomplete copper alloy possible Early Medieval to Medieval stirrup terminal dating from AD 1000 - 1200. Only the projecting loop and a small part of the terminal survives. A loop extends from the outer face. It is 5.9mm wide and oval in cross-section. The rest of the object is broadly triangular and has a conccave face opposite the loop. It has no obvious means of attachment, but silvery material on the concave face suggests that it was soldered in place originally. A late Early-Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) copper-alloy anthropomorphic mount, probably from a stirrup terminal and 20.3mm in length. The terminal is triangular in cross section and overall shape. The decoration unusually is not zoomorphic, instead having a moulded ridge around the wide end, from which a subrectangular lobe projects up the centre of the plate and with the narrower portion of the object tapering to a break with incised lines along the margin. An incomplete copper alloy Roman prick spur dated to the period AD 200-AD 410. The spur is comprised of a curved copper-alloy plate which is rectangular in plan and triangular is cross section one end of which has been expanded to create a flat circular terminal disc (14.52mm diameter) within which is a centrally placed hole (2.5mm diameter). It is a sub-triangular shape in plan with a straight (but broken) top, parallel upper sides, and lower sides that taper inwards to a rounded end.
