A small and incomplete post Medieval copper alloy rowel spur, c.1600-1700 AD. The rowel box is 26mm long and oval in section with a smooth profile and slightly down-curved terminal. The rowel and iron spindle bar are missing. There is an elliptical decorative moulding around the base of the neck. The arms of the spur have a plano-convex cross section and both end in breaks. Circa 17th or 18th century.
