A complete copper alloy Medieval seal matrix dating from AD 1200- 1400. It is a pedestal type seal with a circular face, and faceted reverse which narrows into the stem terminating in a circular loop which would have served as a suspension loop. The die is decorated with a central squirrel facing right, with a bushy spikey tail. The legend reads * I CRAKE NOT [IS].
