A Roman gold finger ring with an oval gem setting. The gem is of a blue glass, possibly nicolo glass, with chamfered sides and a flat, light-blue upper surface. The gem is plain and not engraved. The gold band of the ring is wide but thin at the shoulders, and thickens and narrows at the back of the hoop. The back of the hoop has suffered damage and is distorted with deep scratches. The shoulders are decorated with two engraved swirls on either side.

Cast copper alloy one-piece hook dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is sub-oval in plan and convex. It is decorated with openwork moulded-relief. The attachment end terminates with a rounded knop. The opposite end terminates with a broken suspension-loop above which are three transverse ridges. A copper-alloy wheel from a post-medieval pastry jigger (AD 1700-1800).The object is circular in plan and has rectangular sectioned spokes, either side of which is a semi-circular perforation. The circumference of the wheel is decorated with deep incisions located on either face to form a zig-zag cutting edge, with three crimps then a flat section, repeated around the cutting edge. In the centre of the object is iron corrosion probably where the object was riveted onto a handle. A silver penny probably of Edward IV, (1461-1470), of the York ecclesiastical mint. The bust style suggests Edward III as there is no hollow neck but objects either side of the bust appear to be a T and a key which would indicate Edward IV. The coin is too worn for accurate ID and can be dated AD 1351-77 or AD 1471-83.

A small, two part, cast copper-alloy annular buckle with evidence of former gilding st point around the hinge. The frame is circular, with no visible decoration, and bevelled inwards at a roughly 45 degree angle when viewed from underneath. The pin is still present and has a roughly rectangular collar at its base. It may be missing the last 5-10% of its original length. According to Witehead (2003) this type of buckle was used in the Medieval period and a date is offered of between AD 1200-1400. Length of pin:- 12mm including loop.
