Post-medieval crotal bell. It is copper alloy. The bell is spherical and comprises of two hemispherical domes. A raised median ridge seperates the two halves. There is an uneven square attachment loop at the top. One half of the base is broken. It is undecorated.

Cast copper alloy dolphin brooch dating from 43-65AD. The object is almost complete and in very good condition. The bow rises from the top of the wings sweeping in an arc towards the foot. It is gently curved in profile. The wings are tubular with a raised stop-ridge at either end. The object is decorated with a central rib running the length of the bow. The top half of this rib is smooth and undecorated while running from the centre of the bow to the foot it is decorated with small inverted V-shaped grooves. An incomplete copper alloy sword hanger dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is irregular in plan and flat. The outer face is decorated with a foliate design and the reverse is flat. There is a small rivet hole at one end of the object for attachment. The opposite end which terminates in a break would have had a hooked projection. The object has a dark green patina. A similar example which can be found on the database is LVPL-D09037.

Cast copper alloy Roman Hod Hill type brooch, dating to the first century. The object is sub-rectangular in cross-section. The head is hinged and broken, the metal would have been rolled forward over an axis bar. The brooch tapers to three rectangular collars before narrowing at the waist. Three more transverse rectangular collars decorate the bow before it tapers towards the foot. The foot is missing and only a small amount of the catchplate remains on the reverse. The hinge and pin are missing. The remains of gilding can be seen on each face of the object. It has a brown patina. 43-70AD.

Cast copper alloy mount in the form of a fleur-de-lis dating to the Medieval period, (1100-1500). Each side petal curves downwards and is complete. The central petal is bevelled. The base of the object is oval with a raised central rectangular panel. In the centre of the panel is a horizontal groove. To each side of the panel is a drilled circular hole. There is a small oval projection at the centre of the base. To the rear of the object is a central lug with iron corrosion. The outer face has been filed and has a dark green patina.

An almost complete cast copper alloy socketed axe of Late Bronze Age date (1000 - 800 BC). The object can be classified as the Ewart Park phase of metalwork. The object is sub-rectangular in plan with the cutting edge expanding outwards to form a convex cutting edge. The cutting edge is damaged and worn which occurred both in recent and ancient times. The cutting edge measures 46mm in width and is 3mm thick. One half of a pair of copper alloy nut crackers, of Late Post Medieval to Early A Modern dating (17th to 18th Centuries AD). When complete the nutcrackers would have consisted of two complete arms, joined at a single point hinge. The remaining arm tapers gently from the hinge down towards an acorn shaped molded terminal. The object is semi-circular in cross-section and the outer face is decorated by three sets of paired horizontal ribs. Below this the arm is plain until the acorn molding. A copper-alloy wheel from a post-medieval pastry jigger (AD 1700-1800).The object is circular in plan and has rectangular sectioned spokes, either side of which is a semi-circular perforation. The circumference of the wheel is decorated with deep incisions located on either face to form a zig-zag cutting edge, with three crimps then a flat section, repeated around the cutting edge. In the centre of the object is iron corrosion probably where the object was riveted onto a handle. A small, two part, cast copper-alloy annular buckle with evidence of former gilding st point around the hinge. The frame is circular, with no visible decoration, and bevelled inwards at a roughly 45 degree angle when viewed from underneath. The pin is still present and has a roughly rectangular collar at its base. It may be missing the last 5-10% of its original length. According to Witehead (2003) this type of buckle was used in the Medieval period and a date is offered of between AD 1200-1400. Length of pin:- 12mm including loop.

A thirty pence coin issued in May AD 1690 by James II to finance his abortive campaigns against William III; this type of coin is widely known as 'gun money' because of its base metal (copper alloy) composition. Obverse:- Portrait of James II facing left, beaded border at rim. Legend around 'IACOBVS II DEI GRATIA'. Reverse:- A crown and crossed sceptres, the denomination 'XXX' and date '1690' above. Ornate J and R to either side, month 'May' below. Legend around '[MAG] BR FRA ET HIB REX'.

A small cast copper-alloy Roman T-shaped (Possibly Polden Hill) brooch, incomplete, only the head and the upper portion of the bow surviving. None of the spring remains. Hattatt (1982) suggests a date range of the second hanf of the first century AD (50-100). The surviving portion has no elaborate decoration, beyond a single raised spine down the centre of the outer bow.
