An incomplete copper alloy sword hanger dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is irregular in plan and flat. The outer face is decorated with a foliate design and the reverse is flat. There is a small rivet hole at one end of the object for attachment. The opposite end which terminates in a break would have had a hooked projection. The object has a dark green patina. A similar example which can be found on the database is LVPL-D09037.
